Where to mount my TV?

Trying to figure out where to mount your TV? heres a quick run down on what i’ve noticed from client patterns and trends over the thousands of homes that I’ve covered. Mounting your TV so it’s is easy to view from wherever you plan to sit or lay but also so it is symmetrical in the room. The room usually has a focal point to start with, for the living room that may be a painting or a piece of furniture or the tv itself. What typically happens is everything is usually centered on the TV straight forward, meaning TV centered on the wall space, a tv stand centered under that, a table centered in front of the tv stand, a couch centered in front of the table, and a painting or artwork centered above the couch; or the other way around if the painting or another item is the focal point of the room. A TV is usually the focal point since it is considered a gathering and entertainment space. The same is true for the bedroom, TV centered to a wall, centered to the dresser, centered to a bed, centered to a painting. You can also choose another focal point for the room but be sure to steer clear of walls directly opposing windows to prevent sun glare from ruining your viewing experience. Limited wall space? Consider an extended arm TV mount  to utilize another wall, the extended mount will allow you to pull the tv out a much greater distance to accommodate a full 90 degree turn for most TV sizes. You may even want to go with a ceiling mount, both static or electric deployment since structural mounting to the ceiling is never a problem since it’s is more than properly supported to hold the room or an upstairs dwelling space.
